This week we take a look at three premium-aged domains from our partners –SerpDomains.
➡️ FanyRide.com – For starters, we have a 20-year-old expired domain in the cycling niche. It was once a site for the New York State annual bike ride, which was discontinued after Covid-19. The domain is backed by 56 referring domains, including links from sites like crossfit.com, adventurecycling.org, and whole30.com. If you were planning on starting a site in this niche, this one, priced at $1,049, could be a decent pick.
➡️ FriendsInSpace.com – An interesting 9-year-old domain in the science niche. It was once the first social network in space, backed by the famous Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti. As she returned from the ISS, interest in the site dwindled, and the domain was dropped. Backed by 137 referring domains and priced at $2,249, it certainly has potential, even for a plain 301 redirect.
➡️ AhaHome.com – This 27-year-old domain is a great catch. It was once the website of the nonprofit American Homeowners Association, which later moved to the .org domain. It was live until 2021 and ranked for some real estate keywords. There are 222 referring domains pointing to it. With its catchy and short domain name, this domain could be used for almost any niche within the home/real estate umbrella. The price is $2,779.

➡️ 1-year-old off market dating site from our own portfolio – Similar to probably 95% of you experiencing a hit by the update, we are not exempt. One of our smaller sites was affected by the update. It is a beginner site we purchased a few months ago, Relationshippp.com. It’s a neat site that used to rank well until the update impacted it. The plan was to apply for dating affiliates, but after the update, it lost 33% of its traffic and now receives around 7-8k visits per month. ➡️ 2-year-old groceries site making $3,207/mo on Empire Flippers – As mentioned above, most of the sites listed this week were affected by the updates. This one experienced a 30% decrease in traffic. It offers a combination of educational and programmatic content focused on a major shopping chain in the US. The biggest issue here is not the impact of the updates but the fact that the domain name contains the name of that shopping chain. This is always a significant red flag and a deal breaker for us. However, the site is listed at 24X, and with some negotiation, it could potentially be a successful flip. View on Empire Flippers
➡️ 7-year-old job information site making $1,222/mo on Motion Invest – A great-looking site in an interesting niche. Although it was impacted by the update, it still maintains a traffic level above the Mediavine threshold of 50k. With more than 290 articles already published, your initial focus should be on improving existing content and adding additional revenue streams based on certifications for this profession. While numerous impacted sites are coming to all brokerages, this one is probably one of the better ones out there. View on Motion Invest

- SpinGalactic.com: A site for the New York ping-pong franchise Spin. Started in 2010, it has a DR of 37 and ranks for 1,060 KWs. Backlinks from NYTimes, BusinessInsider and HuffPost.
- TestingFreak.com: Started in 2012, this was a site about software testing, with a DR of 23 and ranking for 176 KWs. Backlinks from HuffPost, TechCrunch and SuperUser.
