This week’s deals feature 3 websites for sale from Empire Flippers and Flippa in the travel, parenting, and converter niches, and 2 websites from our private Facebook group in the SEO and home niches.
For domains, we share findings on 3 aged SEO domains and 5 branded domains live at GoDaddy auctions, plus 3 aged domains from SerpDomains.
🚀 3 Vetted Aged Domains
This week we take a look at three premium-aged domains from our partners –SerpDomains.
➡️ Devergy.com – For our first domain this week, we have selected one in the solar energy niche. This domain was previously used by a company providing off-grid solar solutions worldwide. It was registered back in 2010 and is supported by 72 referring domains. There are some high-value backlinks from sites like huffpost.com, un.org, and usaid.gov. For $2,500, you can kickstart a new blog in the high-ticket solar energy niche. We recommend pursuing lead generation as the main revenue model.
➡️ InvestSnips.com – While we usually skip highly competitive niches like investing/finance, this domain caught our attention. The domain is 9 years old and was once used to provide lists of companies in the investing market. At its peak, the site attracted more than 50,000 visitors per month and had over 3,000 pages. The backlink profile consists of 100 referring domains. For just $1,650, you can even try recreating the original content on the domain. Attracting 50,000 visitors per month in the finance niche is no small feat and could recoup your investment in a matter of months.”
➡️ BeyondThePlate.net – Lastly, we have an interesting 12-year-old domain in the kitchen/food niche. The domain was previously used as a personal blog, which ceased operations during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021. During its lifetime, the domain attracted 323 referring domains. The price is set a bit high at $3,440, so be sure to have a proper plan moving forward.
🚀 3 Websites For Sale From Brokers
➡️ 5-year-old travel site making $3,098/mo on Empire Flippers – The site was moderately affected by the most recent update. However, the reason we chose this listing is due to its diverse revenue model, which includes 10 sources including display ads and 9 affiliate partnerships. The content is well-written and not limited to a single region of the world, making the addition of new content really easy. On the other hand, a 42X asking price is too high for today’s market. ➡️ 14-year-old parenting site making $6,966/mo on Empire Flippers – Similar to the first site, this one was also negatively affected by the most recent update, but then again, what site wasn’t? It is a popular mom’s blog, complete with additional assets like social media accounts totaling over 40,000 subscribers and a strong mailing list of 6,000. The site currently earns revenue only from Mediavine display ads, so there is a huge opportunity to diversify to affiliate marketing. View on Empire Flippers
➡️ 2-year-old file converter site making $211/mo on Flippa – A site with 100,000 visits per month that only earns $200 per month may seem unusual, but it’s quite common for sites like this one, whose sole purpose is to convert files. Improving revenue for such sites is particularly challenging. On the other hand, with programmatic SEO, you can create thousands of pages, and with well-crafted templates, you can prolong the time spent on the site, thereby increasing revenue from display ads. 🚀 2 Off-Market Sites on Facebook
The Website Flip runs a free Facebook group where sellers can list sites for sale. Here is a selection of a few sites this week:
➡️ $15/mo SEO Niche Site: A 4-year-old site is earning revenue through AdSense. This site attracts decent traffic that is not directly related to SEO. However, for just $2,500, you can purchase this and use it for your agency.
➡️ $62/mo Home Niche Site: A typical niche site earning money from Ezoic and Amazon. The seller is asking for 35 times the last six months’ earnings. Do a quick check on the impact of the latest Google update before proceeding.
